Standard Bank Twicket

Standard Bank wanted to leverage their latest sponsorship of the South African national cricket team. We needed a tactical way of getting Standard Bank’s presence into stadiums where they were not allowed to advertise as well as engage all viewers of live games. So we created the Twicket game –  a game of cricket played through Twitter that interacted with the live cricket match.

During live games involving the Proteas, the user would guess how many runs would be scored off the next over by tweeting #SBtwicket and their guess. A dedicated @Twicket account responded, letting them know how many runs they scored or wickets they lost after the over was completed.
